Nisaba vs Recall: bookmarks, read later and AI chat
Compare Nisaba and Recall on platforms, AI chat with sources, price and import. Both answer questions over your saved library with cited sources.
Recall suits you if you want AI chat over your knowledge, the web or both, plus a knowledge graph, quizzes and apps for iOS, Android and four browsers. Nisaba suits you if you want a bookmark manager with search by meaning and answers that list the saved pages they came from. Source-cited chat over a library exists in both products.

Asking your own saves
Say you saved 40 articles on pricing for a talk. In Nisaba, open Ask, choose that workspace and type a request such as: compare per-seat and flat pricing in my saves. The answer lists the pages it used, so you open them and check. Ask uses AI credits, and AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Recall Plus shows source cards with its answers. Recall also lists quizzes, spaced repetition and text to speech. Nisaba has none of these.
Moving over
Nisaba has no Recall-specific import. Recall exports Markdown, and Nisaba does not import Markdown files. If you can produce a CSV with a url column and a header row, the Spreadsheet import takes it. Title, note, tags, folder and created columns are optional. You see a preview before anything is imported. The import page lists the supported sources.
Nisaba's limits
- There is no native mobile app yet. Recall lists iOS and Android apps.
- The extension is for Chrome only. Recall lists Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari.
- Nisaba needs an internet connection.
- Search by meaning and Ask use AI credits. When your credits run out, AI answers pause and keyword search keeps working.
